Elastic Compression Bandage Manufacturer for OEM and Wholesale Supply
Zhuopu Medical manufactures polyester high elastic bandages, also called elastic compression bandages, for support, wrapping and dressing retention. We supply standard, heavy-duty and light breathable constructions to medical distributors, first-aid suppliers and private label brands.
Choose widths from 5 to 15 cm (20 cm and custom on request), lengths of 3.6–5 m, and fabric weights from 80 to 130 g/m². Select the fabric, dimensions and fastening together, then match the packaging to your sales channel.

Stretch, Recovery and Compression Requirements
Select an elastic bandage from its complete mechanical specification. A maximum stretch figure alone does not describe the force needed to extend it or how well it recovers.

Elastic (Long-Stretch) vs Short-Stretch Bandages

Typical extensibility |
Behavior |
Typical use |
| Elastic (long-stretch) |
Above about 100% |
Extends easily, easier to apply, smaller pressure change between rest and movement |
General support, sports and first-aid wrapping, dressing retention |
| Short-stretch |
Below about 100% |
Limited extension, firmer resistance during muscle movement |
Professional compression therapy under clinical guidance |
| Rigid or inelastic |
About 0–10% |
Almost no extension |
Fixation and immobilization |
Ranges depend on the test method, so a supplier's extensibility figure should state it. Higher extensibility does not automatically mean higher pressure. Application tension, overlap, width and the area wrapped also matter, and adding layers reduces the effective elasticity of the wrap.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the MOQ for elastic compression bandages?
5,000 rolls per size, packed in full cartons. For a 5 cm × 4.5 m bandage that is 7 cartons.
What is your lead time?
5–7 days from order confirmation. New artwork, custom packaging or a new construction is confirmed in the quotation.
Do you provide free samples?
Yes. Free samples of standard specifications are available, with courier cost paid by the customer. Customized samples are quoted separately.
What widths, lengths and fabric weights are available?
Widths of 5, 7.5, 10 and 15 cm (about 2 to 6 inches), with 20 cm and custom widths on request. Lengths are 3.6, 4, 4.5 and 5 m stretched. Fabric weights run from 80 to 130 g/m².
How elastic is it?
Extensibility ranges from 150% to 270% by model and is typically 180%–240%, with elastic recovery of 85% or higher. Ask for the test method with any figure.
What is the difference between relaxed and stretched length?
Relaxed length is measured without extension. Stretched length is measured under a defined extension. Our lengths are stated stretched unless noted, and quotations, orders and labels should use the same basis.
What is the difference between an elastic bandage and a compression bandage?
An elastic bandage is a stretchable wrap for support and dressing retention. "Compression bandage" describes the intended effect, and a therapeutic compression product needs defined mechanical performance and instructions.
Is a short roll the same as a short-stretch bandage?
No. A short roll describes length, while short-stretch describes mechanical behavior.
Which fastening options do you offer?
Metal clips, elastic-band clips, aluminum or rubber buckles, hook-and-loop, or no fastener. State the method and the count per roll in your inquiry.
Is every elastic bandage suitable for compression therapy?
No. A therapeutic requirement needs a product intended and supported for that use. General support or dressing-retention bandages should not be substituted automatically.
